Terms of Use

Strenix is operated by Refine Journal LLC ("Strenix," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Strenix mobile application ("the app"). By downloading or using Strenix, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Strenix for your personal, non-commercial use on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

2. Health & Fitness Disclaimer

Strenix provides general fitness and nutrition information and tools. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional guidance. Consult a physician before beginning any exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have a medical condition or injury. You use Strenix and perform any exercise at your own risk. We are not responsible for any injury, health issue, or loss resulting from your use of the app, including its programs, recommendations, or estimates. Stop exercising and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort.

3. Estimates Are Not Guarantees

Strenix produces estimates — including calorie and macronutrient values (including those generated from photos or text by AI), expenditure, recovery status, strength projections, and program recommendations. These are approximations for informational purposes and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on them for medical, clinical, or other critical decisions.

4. Subscriptions (Strenix Pro)

Strenix offers an auto-renewing subscription, "Strenix Pro," on a monthly or annual basis.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel anytime in Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions.
• Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Purchases are processed by Apple; we do not receive your payment card details. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Strenix, including by: reverse-engineering or attempting to extract source code or API credentials; using the app's services to abuse, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our systems or third-party services; or using the app in violation of any law.

6. Intellectual Property

Strenix, its content, design, and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding.

7. Third-Party Services

Strenix relies on third-party services to function, including Apple (App Store, HealthKit, StoreKit), our AI processing provider (for photo/text meal analysis), and Open Food Facts (barcode lookups). Your use of those features is also subject to those providers' terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Strenix is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any estimate or recommendation is accurate.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of Strenix. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Strenix or its services if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

13. Apple

This license is granted by us, not Apple, and Apple has no responsibility for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Any maintenance, support, and product-warranty obligations are ours, not Apple's. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
